Long time ago, about a hundred years ago, I had fallen in love with two youngsters who were members of a group of mercenaries known as the crimson revenants. I will now, due to nostalgia, tell you one of my favorite adventures they lived together as a team who hunted monsters and completed requests for the sake of surviving the land of Faria, then corrupted by the void.
May 10, year 123 after the void started to corrupt the land: They were charged with the task of hunting down a group of goblins who kidnapped several ladies from a village nearby the south of Faria. Since they were close to the place where the goblins were supposed to have their nest, they decided to take the job.
Corvo and Stella, the youngsters I fell in love with, were the ones to take the job. Corvo was, indeed, a strange one. He had a black mantle that covered his whole body, and a mask in the shape of a crow that hid his face. Stella was a shy lady near the age of 15. She was a member of the ancient ones, a race of humanoids that lived among nature. With white hair, small horns similar to those of a deer, white skin, pointy ears and golden eyes, she was, of course, a beautiful girl… But she had never killed a living being before. Corvo was the one to teach her how to do it. She had practiced how to use the bow before, but she was not prepared for such a task, but in that world corrupted by darkness where she was once held as a slave and freed by Corvo, she had to learn how to survive by the rules of the crimson revenants: “Those who are strong enough shall become one of us”
It was her test. And she was willing to do it.
