Right now, the world is gripped by violence – everyone appears to be nursing an agenda to prove himself to the world. And – they get hold of a gun and shoot at targets. Some targets are known, others are totally unknown and selected at random.
In most of the cases, the shooter gets killed. It would be a death his parents would never have imagined. Parents who had brought him up in the hope that he would fulfil their unfinished dreams break down in tears as they see their dreams shattered.
They must have repented the day they had gifted their child a toy gun on one of his birthdays.
In America, it is easy to lay hands on a gun. The law of the land authorizes each individual to own a firearm for his protection. The days of the Wild West have gone but the tradition has remained. In spite of a number of tragic incidents, the law has not been amended – because of vested interests.
The gun industry is a huge multi-million dollar industry and those who run it want their products to sell. The industry involves not just firearms but also the shells apart from firing ranges.

At the other extreme are the terrorists. They hold the world to ransom and have no hesitation in shooting innocents for reasons best known to themselves. They are driven by some unknown forces that rob them of their senses.
The world is at the mercy of these gunmen and, in order to check this, do not ever give your child a gun. Not even a toy gun.
