This is Visby, the beautiful city I live in. Visby is located on the Gotland island and has about 27000 inhabitants. It is also part of the world heritage. The enclosed wall almost completed intact measures about 3.5 km and overlooks directly on the sea. Visby is a medieval town and the oldest buildings date back to 1100. Inside, numerous ruins of ancient churches attract tourists from all over the world. During the second week of August the medieval festival is celebrated among the most renowned and important in Europe, a festival that attracts every year from 30 to 40000 people. Visby arrives by ship or plane with frequent departures and arrivals.
