The vision of God: For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. Psalm 11:7

The Psalm 11 is a prayer that teaches us that in the face of oppression we must place our trust in the beatitude and never lose hope in a better future, without saying it openly the Psalm ends by talking about the most important spiritual good for human beings, the spiritual gift of eternal life.
The Psalm begins by explaining the difficulty of changing a situation when sin prevails over the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion), as many prophets taught us, a new word can be given to men but not a new heart.
In the history of the people of Israel, many prophets should have preached in the face of the indifference of many, many prophets in the Bible fit the figure of the suffering servant in Isaiah 53, and that is why the Psalm 11 tells us:
"When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?" Psalm 11:3.
But then the Psalm continues and explains to us in a metaphorical manner that the Lord is on his throne, and nothing escapes from the judgment of God; the Lord is pure spirit, that is, the Lord is the wisdom itself, and for this perfect wisdom, a retribution awaits all men, whether good or bad:
"The LORD is in his holy temple;
the LORD is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.
The LORD examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.
On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot" Palm 11:4-6.
But the righteous, despite the difficulties, must persevere; because in the end, a great reward awaits those who live according to divine precepts, and this is the vision of God through the contemplative life:
"For the LORD is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face" Psalm 11:7.
The Lord in the old testament is pure intelligence, seeing the face of the Lord, as the Psalm explains to us, is a metaphor that expresses the idea that God can only be perceived by his divine attributes such as the mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness), the piety, and the wisdom.
