This post is the continuation of a series where I am trying to show to the world that there is more to Pakistan than a strong propaganda of a terrorist-state image.
Here is the link to the REASON#1:
https://steemit.com/travel/@shemabukhari/come-and-see-pakistan-we-are-not-terrorists-reason-1
In this post I am going to tell you through a series of pictures about the magnificently pictrusque places along the Karakuram Highway route.
Question 1: What is Karakorum Highway?
It is a modern times world wonder. It is a highway built in Karakorum mountain range with Pakistan and China's collaboration. the history of this highways construction can be checked through "Uncle Google":)

Question 2: Is it safe?
It is safe in terms of security and route also. although there are points which will just take your breath away but it is a paradise for adventure lovers.
Famously known as KKH, its a route that has a history of sacrifices, devotion, immense hard work, progress for remote areas and lifeline for many a tribes. If you look at the map, it becomes clear that it connects many small and large towns on both sides.
1. Bhasha Dam area - Diamer
I will take you to a pictorial journaey of some landmarks along the route.Typically starting from Islamabad, the first major point can be Bhasha Dam area - Diamer.

These places are just the tip of the iceberg.
You cannot imagine how difficult it was to choose from the thousands of magical places that you can actually visit along the KKH.
I cannot even cover every spot in one single post. But this Reason#2 to #visitpakistan and forget that Pakistan is actually not a terrorist state - is definitely Karakorum Highway.
Come and See Pakistan - We are not terrorists.
I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions for the next reason.
Happy reading and viewing the images ! :P
