Batu Bara regency, North Sumatra may not be familiar to the ears of tourists. In fact, this district has 2 beautiful islands in the Strait of Malacca. Pulau Pandang and Pulau Salah Namo, as the name suggests.

Pandang island and Salah Namo island are both beautiful, yet have different characteristics. Pandang island itself is a beautiful little island. Underwater scenery is very captivating with a variety of stunning coral nan. The water was blue toska and clear so we can see clearly the coral reefs that exist in the bottom of the sea. Very fun to do fishing, diving and snorkeling.

The beaches on the island are very varied. There is a white sand, there are beaches filled with large stones. The island also has two hilltops. On one of the hills there is a stones right at the top. The shape of this stone is very unique, rectangular and the stone is completely split neatly, as if cut with sharp objects.

At the top of one hill is a 20-meter lighthouse tower. The view from the top of this lighthouse is very beautiful. The forest landscape of Pandang Island combined with its white sand and black rocks. Plus the degradation of Malacca Strait water color blue toska. Making this heart so amazed and subdued will God's greatness in creating the beauty of this nature.

While Salah Namo island is another small island which is only about half an hour drive from Pandang island . This island has different characteristics with Pulau Pandang which has white sandy beaches and rocky beaches. Beach on Salah Namo island is not so wide because the edge of the island is dominated by rocks that form a steep cliff nan high.

Around the island there is also a cluster of rocks that stick out from the seabed and separated from the main island. The location of the cluster of corals is slightly dangerous because the water currents rotate due to the ocean currents that hit the cluster of corals. But from Salah Namo island , we can see the cluster of coral is quite clear because on the island has provided a special spot that leads to the cluster of corals.

Salah Namo island has been well managed to welcome tourists. Here there is a trail of concrete that divides the island so that tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The shady trees and birds become the decorative beauty of this island as tourists explore the island.

In addition, there are also paths that are on the edge of the island and jutting into the sea so that tourists can also enjoy the beautiful views of the Strait of Malacca. In some places, small huts are built for visitors who want to rest or just relax while enjoying the beauty of the island. On this island also has provided lodging for tourists who want to stay.
