First of all, I would like to apologize to anyone who joined the TradeQwik exchange because of my posts on steemit about the TQS dividends.
They served well for quite some time. However, after the wallets were turned off they didn't work anymore so I would like to say that the TQS I was holding didn't pay for themselves not one bit.
I was a little bit more cautious about the whole project when William Banks (it's not even his real name) stopped coming to the discord server and talk to us about his progress on the exchange. We really thought he is trying to fix stuff, but the problem was that he didn't do pretty much anything!
William Banks (Steve) was the "mastermind" of the whole project and I am not sure why, but he was the only one having an access to the private keys. He decided to steal and he managed to steal a lot of Bitcoins from the TradeQwik's cold storage.
He was later arrested for a completely different thing and now the good guys (Joe, Rick, Michael and more) are trying to recover as much funds as possible. This sounds like an episode from a TV show, but sadly it's not.
As you can see the @tradeqwik account is still pretty big!
It's a mess and you can't even know how bad the whole situation is. You have to visit TQ's discord or VIVA's basecamp and read all the messages.
The thing I know for sure though is that a lot of people will lose money. Sadly, I am one of them. The funds that will hopefully be recovered will not be enough and also there is a lot of VIVA assets that are pretty much valued at zero right now such as VIP, VIVA and VIVACROWNS. Those were pretty expensive if you bought them with your own money before.
Please don't give anymore money to the scammers. I don't really want to go into details much more, but you can read everything on the discord.
Also @neoxian made a post about it.
So yeah, please cast away the votes for @viva.witness, @williambanks and any VIVA involved account. Those accounts still do hold a lot of steem that probably doesn't even belong to them.

I friend told me about VIVA a while ago and I looked into it and almost bought a crown ($4200) but held off as It didn’t make a lot of sense.
