Vlad the impaler

Do you think the myths are true about him? Was he just so fierce of a warrior or was he actually a vampire? ‘‘Tis along with plenty other myths may never be answered, but it’s awesome to think about.

I think he was one of many rulers of the time that did outrageous things to keep his kingdom safe. I think just like now there were stories of themselves they wanted and didn't want to get out, aka leaking to the press or leaking to the biggest mouthed nobles (virtually owned by him at the time to do his bidding--funny how not much changes over the centuries). His horrific methods like lining the roads for miles with bodies impaled on a pike (his favorite method of execution, hence Vlad the Impaler). That entire region he was in was bat ---- crazy for countless generations before and after him. He apparently was an overachiever in psychological warfare which was good because in his native Wallachia he was surrounded by people that wanted his empire overrun with or without a psychopath war mongering leader.
