Would You Eat With Me? Snails, Crickets, and Snakes!

In my previous posts, I wrote about the Lotus Farm here in Siem Reap. Today we are going near the lotus farm to one of the very local restaurants. At this restaurant, locals come to eat snails, crickets, snakes & more! It's all so very delicious!

    I have been wanting to try the crickets from Oaxaca. I have eaten my weight in snails, having traveled to France a few times. Snakes? Only if desperate! :)

    I don't mind snakes, nor crickets (dead), but snails are too slimy for my palate.

    I would do the snails i had them before kind of taste like beef the way i had them. Crickets i had dipped in chocolate didn't really care for them and snakes no thanks but i have had ell many time about as close to snake as you can get always get it when i go out for sushi the fresh water and salt water type that are cooked never sold raw dew to parasites But some good eats.

        I love this look at another culture and their food. I would absolutely eat snails and snakes, but I don't think I could ever bite into an insect!
