Today I am taking the time to read some good comments from my past two posts. I noticed more spam comments than usual maybe this is a side-effect from having more users sign up. I am going to try to start a comment give away here on Steemit in order to encourage people to take the time and actually watch or read the post they are commenting on.

Just joking :) I'm here two weeks on Steemit and even I have noticed many fake/spam comments just fishing for upvotes. But that's just how system is set up and people trying their best to capitalize it.
