Hey it's me your @mysore. Am here to share you the festival we celebrated grandly in our home town.
Actually pongal is celebrated as a great festival because the day was "New year of Tamil calendars".
• In English we say a January 1 for it's new year in Tamil it's "Thai 1st".

Cow treated as god

In Tamilnadu famous places like •madurai •Tanjavur people's conduct jallikattu ,which is considered as a Tamilan pride in them.

In last year the government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the conducting jallikattu is considered as an offence. But the Youngsters and all the colleges support the protest. And finally the government has no choice, and allowed to conduct the jallikattu.

• I felt very happy not for a protest victory but for the leave of my college 😂

The above image show that it's a art of women in home make a decorations to celebrate a pongal. Actually the term pongal is a sweet dish that was cooked using a mud pot and wood firing stove.


And finally we started our ride and went to hotel and have nice meals.

We just moved to city which is 20 kilometers away from our home. And we enjoyed a lot with my brother @suresheee and we both have a nice lunch today.

We ordered Fish fry, mutton briyani, white rice, and chicken kabab, omlet,and a coke.
Every ordered dish is superb but the briyani is soo poor of taste we cannot able to eat it so we just kept and have a remaining. After seeing a bill I was shocked the rate of the mutton biriyani is only high Rs150 each. We both @mysore and @suresheee had brought and wasted it. 🤤

Finally we got a bill , for a Rs.945 and we give up a server a Rs20 as a tip. And we returned to home. Today we really enjoyed a festival.

Finally our pongal enjoyment gets over and now we just typed this content for nearly 1.30 hours
