How can I get rich on steemit? 🤑🤑🤑
That is probably the most popular question amoung new users on steemit.
Why?
The monetary reward obviously is steemit's no. 1 selling proposition.
What makes steemit "different" compared to other social networks is the financial reward, the incentive for social interaction.
You may interact the same way on other networks like Facebook, but there you don't get paid for it.
However, before starting to worry about the cash, there is an other point you might consider first. I'll tell you which one:

When I started to analyze the content of the users who contacted me via @steemaniacs, I quickly noticed that they are all mainly concerned about one thing: the money.
That's why I decided to publish a generic message about that no.1 issue.
The amazing steemian and world traveler @anomadsoul inspired me to bundle my recommendations for newbies in a vlog.

the number one reason why many people come here for the sake of making money only is the advertisements that said " new social media platform in which you can get paid to being part of it" so people don't come here because it's social media they come chasing money but indeed it's great place to find amazing articles on what you love , asking people whatever you wanna learn or know about , meeting new people , making discussions and sharing ideas that what the advertisements should refer to first before money . just as simple as you said it's not a money machine it's like a anything in life the more the effort and time you put the more you get , in my view and what i figured out after 13 days on steemit that's too short time but honestly finding steemit is the best thing has happened to me this year, even am struggling now to get attention but i believe hard work will pay off , i feel grateful for many people who supporting me and help me raise my reputation to 44 in 13 days that's pretty cool that's mean the world to me , and you @surfermarly is the first one who supported me on steemit you see my post about luck on facebook if you remember and because of you i get some more attention to my post am really couldn't thank you enough. you also give recommendations and am already take care in the next posts , thank's from the bottom of my heart and hope you take a look at my blog and tell me am i on the right track , how can i improve

The advertisment actually tells the truth. Yes, you get rewarded for your social interaction. People just need to lower a bit their expectations regarding the "amount" 😉 However, $1 a day is able to make a HUGE difference in countries where people don't have much. So it always depends on your perspective.
The ones who are willing to learn and be consistent can come very far.

People can do whatever you consider right. It's a free game :-) But all the things you mentioned are mainly self-oriented, thus they won't lead to much success in the long run.
Once you start tipping people to make them feel good (instead of wanting something in return) or follow them because you like their stuff (instead of wanting them to follow back), then you have understood the game :-) On steemit like in real life.

All your points must be underlined. Still take time to explain most of the little so called minnow spammers what would be acceptable. Some that are not asking anything but just stick to their game, I try to motivate with some bot voting. Help was given by the community big time to me so this needs to be given back tenfold.

I have a lot to learn but since I have been on STEEMIT for one year now, the best advice I can give to be successful here is to be consistent. Try to interact on a Daily Basis whether it is creating content or taking the time to comment on other peoples content. Just for the FIRST 30 days on Steemit don't worry about any money just engage in Commenting on other posts or creating Content. Give it 30 days and it will become a habit and once you do this for 90 days it will probably be a Life Long Habit in a VERY Good Way !!

This definitely a question that ponders many minds when they join steemit for the first time as the monetary aspect is a large selling point for many users.
I believe as you said, 'it isn't a money making machine', you are just a cog in this beautiful machine called steemit.
If you put the work in you will be rewarded and even though you may not have explosive growth initially. However, over time people will see and reward your work.
I've been on this site for a month only and I've been posting and working every day but on the way, I've met some amazing people and the money is now only an additional benefit on my time here which I keep in steem power so I can award and help others.
