Today we are in Blaubeuren, a small town in the Swabian Alb, to check out the Blautopf, an amazingly blue lake that almost looks like one of these blue holes. It is one of the most famous natural wonders in Germany. Fairy tales and myths surround this bright blue place. The blue pot is actually a well and at a depth of 22 meters, divers found an entrance to the fascinating Blautopf underwater cave, which is part of the largest cave system in the Swabian Jura. There are also plenty of beautiful hiking trails and other attractions nearby.
