Nhat Tan flower village is one of the most must-go destinations when spring comes. Peach flower and Kumquat tree are familiar in the North of Viet Nam while Ochna Itegerrima (Apricot Blossom) cannot be missing during the Tết holidays in the South.
To celebrate Lunar New Year, My Dad didn't forget to buy Kumquat Tree and Peach Blossom combining the merry traditional atmosphere. They have striking colors and Vietnamese believe they will bring warmth, hapiness, health and good luck to their house. So they decorate their house with traditional ornamental trees preparing for Tet holiday.
I don't know why but this year Kumquat Tree and Peach Blossom are not expensive. If you spend time carefully finding out, you can buy them with a really good price! There is no doubt that If one family doesn't have these ornaments, it won't be Tet anymore...
