Depression Is A Fight Within!!! Do Not Let 'Society' Control Your Life.... They do not deserve it!!!

Depression is a fight within, The rejection from the society is common, but do you live to impress them??. How long can you live thinking what the society thinks??

You may live your life to impress others but once you are done and go home. It's you and you alone at the end of the day. You need to answer one person who is staying with you always. That's You!!!

Will you go about creating a false world around yourself too?? Is that right?? A mask on your life, is it worth all the efforts you put in??

People can't see what you are going through, and that's completely normal. That is not something to be scared of!! People have their own lives and only thing that comes free is being judgemental. They do it anyways.

Wait did I say bring judgemental is free?? No!!! Karma is real, just wait for your time. This shouldn't ruin the way you live your life. Its not your fault. You don't have to suffer, don't suffer!!

Life sometimes knocks you down, you may feel you don't have the strength to get back up, but the way you stand on your two feet determines the character you build for yourself.

Just ask yourself if you deserve this situation in life.... Weather you are challenging yourself to the extreme..... Because at the end of the day it's your life and your conviction that matters.

There comes a time when you feel you dont have the strength to do anything at all. that you are hopeless and there is nothing in this world that can help you!! This is the time for you to fight, do something better today than what you were doing yesterday.Take life head on, do not get scared for anything, life has its on rules and not everything has to be followed.

Go out there and better yourself everyday, do not feel depressed for the past, do not let it control your future. You got just one life, live it to the fullest!!!

No tension = no depression

thanks for the inspirational words!
awesome to be able to send anonymous reports!
i had been struggling quite a bit over the last years and managed to say it out loud (sorry for the bad translation) that i am not confident with a future in the music business just recently. the moment i began speaking my thoughts out loud started a changing process on its own.
steemit had been a great help with that!
i guess it is still the beginning of a longer
process for me but i am allready feeling physically better.
i got a good portion of my optimism back which also changes my interactions for the good.

so thanks again for your motivating words!

Sharing is the starting step to solving many problems... It's fortunate to see you find that system, just keep trying your best and things will fall in place.... Ts just a matter of time

Such an honest and inspiring post. Fortunately, I have been able to combat my small bouts of occasional depression and have been able to battle my inner demons but I have seen my husband become victimized by it for a long time so I completely get this post. Depression is not a death sentence; sadly most people view it like that. To cure depression, it is important to understand that it can be cured and then keep being positive and kind to yourself. This is what has helped my husband too. And I aree with you sharing is the first step to curing your problem because unless you share your problems with others, you won't be able to help them understand what you are going through. Also opening up to others and listening their experiences makes you realize you are not alone which encourages you to fight your depression.

Thank you for connecting with the cause.... Depression is a gift, it moulds us.... It's not a death sentence for sure.... I'm happy to see your husband healthy... I wish him a long life.... Glad to see you share your story

Great initiative. Sometimes burdens and pains become heavy because there is nobody to share them with. This is a great initiative to help people express their hurt and find solace

Thank you for seeing the value @voiceshares believes

I read this:
"Go out there and better yourself everyday, do not feel depressed for the past, do not let it control your future. You got just one life, live it to the fullest!!!"
I must say, If it was that simple, nobody would be depressed for longer than a few days. Depression is serious business, I know what I am talking about, I've been through it, and it is hell. The only thing you want is to feel better, but that doesn't come like that. Serious medical help AND psychotherapy is the solution, definitely nothing less!
The hangout link is very good, that can help people to ventilate their thoughts, but that's just a start. Please don't make people think they are weak if they are depressed or scared, because they aren't, they just need help, and they will get through it.

Sincerely

Pele23

Amen! You hit the jackpot :) Yeah you're right. Depression doesn't do anything good.

@pele23 - I respect the point put forward by you. We never said it's easy, we have been doing everything we can to support people with depression and that is one of the main aims of this..... We understand the complexity involved in the process and in no we are insensitive to call people weak ...... Infact we never said that.... Kindly red the article again...

It was a motivational article and it was an effort from our end to make someone feel better....I know it's not easy but at the end of the day self help is a major part of recovery from depression... This post is manly based on how one should start helping self .... So I request you to kindly and carefully analyse what is written....

It was a pleasure to have you talk about this, people like you stand as a major support for Voiceshares.... We respect that!!

Ok, I understand, it must have interpreted wrong. I don't say you're doing bad. I am just being a bit wary of all the guru-talk there is. Sorry if I offended you.

Its all about perception my friend, no offense taken... Glad to talk to you :)

Great post....however it is not as easy as it sounds. Depression often go unnoticed..until it's too late.

Check out my post on this as well; though not too depression inclined, but it's related.

Yes what you said is a great point - depression is not a breeze in the park - it doesn't just come and go, its a challenge that needs to be faced with strength

Well it's never easy and we realize that... This was a motivational post .... Depression often go unnoticed and that's the most unfortunate thing about it....But in some situations there may be only you who stays all along .. n this post was mostly aimed at creating a support at those situations....

thanks for your helping hand

Thanks for health care

Our pleasure

it's quite unfortunate that society is setting a standard as to how we live our lives... what the majority thinks is considered correct.... but I don't believe this... society doesn't make us... We, ourselves, make society... I guess... people should learn to love and accept themselves first... ^^

Self reliance is the key :)No one has any say on our life ....

That's for sure.. :)

When I'm depressed, I'm searching for something to do. Maybe read a book or comments on steemit ^_____^

Just keep yourself occupied, it's not easy but let's start.... That's the first step...

Who's society? It is us. I'm society to you and you're to me. It is weird how we unknowingly or unintentionally judge the society by saying things like "that's what they do and that's what they will always do" etc. I personally disagree with the whole concept. A mutual effort to become good individually and stop categorization is what we need as a 'society'.

Depression is a result of fears, threats, lack of motivation, lack of urge to live happily. If we overcome our fears, we can get motivated and live a happy life. Nobody actually has enough time (well majority of people around us) to think about what we're doing. We just look at the clown at food outlets, smile at him, do a dance step with him and move away. Rarely do we keep thinking about him on our way home, isn't it?

Just sharing my opinion and disagreement to a small part of what you've written above. Rest of it makes total sense to me and I agree with it :)

Peace to everyone!

I respect that although I feel mutual respect is a myth and it no longer exists, we have given a frame work to our life as such. Thank you for the comment :)

Thanks for the encouraging words to those who are suffering from depression. Depression is a tricky matter and someone who has clinical depression can't just change how they feel by trying not to be depressed.

Exactly!! Hopefully we can be of some help in this regard

I love this!!!! Especially since social media has created a world which I call BarbieLand. We are surrounded by social media, it's an unrealistic perspective of peoples lives where we only see the smiles, seldom do we see the tears and struggles of others. Many people assume that they are the only ones having troubles with family, business, marriage etc. It's so important to take life one day at a time and to not compare our lives to others. Thank you for this!!
