This Is Your Brain on Statism

There is one weakness in the very points Larkins' has, and one that seems to have been overlooked.

This is connected to a post I made yesterday ( I have included that at the bottom of this this post, for context.)

For the system to work- anarchy – And for statism to die, and be replaced
– A case eloquently put by Larkin – (and un-eloquently questioned by me in this post)
.....is dependent on one thing - Understanding.

And here in is the elephant that won't - or even can't - go away.

IQ. - For the system to work, as I believe it could have/ can do-is dependent on a deep understanding HOW the system works.
Only with this deep, conceptual understanding. will people lose the fear and wish, to delegate their voice to another.

This involves abstract thinking, and critical thinking. And whether we like it or not, NOT everybody has the intellect to grasp the issues. It's unfortunate, but no less true.

And this being the case, and in sufficient numbers, the less intellectually inclined, will always naturally gravitate to 'leaders' who appear to comprehend situations they do not .
In their own lack of understanding , they lend their weight to a leader they trust, and who they think does understand the issues.

(the IQ bell curve suggests the numbers are there, or otherwise we would not have progressed so far down this idiotic path, already.)

And so it all begins again..

It could be argued then, that was is really needed (which it badly is), is a change in education curriculum, for our young people.
While not significantly improving IQ levels,(as understand it), a school filled with philosophy, and logic could help redress the balance of people grasping what anarchism is, and it's implementation.

To think that change in education will ever come from a government that wishes to continue the present system, is beyond naive.

And so it behooves the parents to compete with their own child's 'education' /indoctrination.
A losing battle, if you consider the time commitment of schools, and parental hours after work.

And, let's not forget IQ.

Many (most?) parents don't possess the skills necessary to take this task on.

It's just the way it is, and no wishing for a sudden leap in IQ points across all society, will remedy that .

THIS is why the independent, free thinking environment WE can envisage as being a 'perfect' system, ISN'T 'perfect' for people with the necessary IQ/education, to perceive the reality.

This elephant will not go away, and until addressed, (and resolved, somehow), the fantastic ideals of anarchism, I feel, will fall on, not so
much deaf ears, as uncomprehending, fearful , brains.

Principles of anarchism work against the implementation of anarchism - you can't FORCE anyone, to do anything. - Not even to 'try' the alternative system.

post 29th August

There are 2 main problems with anarchy being 'the system', as I see it.

Problem 1

Humans are tribal.
It doesn't matter if you like this fact or not. It is still a fact. (that we 'shouldn't' be, is naive).
Tribal behavior means at some point, there will be conflict between tribes (for resources of some kind.)
If the conflict concerned - where to lose, is to lose your life, your tribe, your family. Then physical violence will follow.
I see no historical instances where this has not been the case.
So we can safely say, this is a natural order.(which is common sense, if you think about it.)
So the constant progression to bigger (and safer) organizations, will always be a natural driving force. (unfortunately).

Problem 2

The ideological principles of anarchy is an environment made in heaven, for the psychopaths, and sociopaths. To think of these individuals as 'human', is misguided.
Every single value you have (if you are not a sociopath)- respect, honesty, fairness, integrity – are not possessed by these individuals. They play the game of having these qualities, and are experts at it – they have been doing it all there lives, after all.
It's no surprise even 'trained' psychologist can be fooled by these people.
The values we have are just tools used to, by them, to manipulate the 'normal' people (97%).

A lie is no different to the truth - it's just a tactic to get what you want- in the mind of a sociopath.
Until this fundamental problem is addressed, the ideology of anarchism will be problematic.

While everyone is living a great life of anarchy, and making life great, the 3% are busily working on manipulating, gaming the system, living by game theory - and gaining power.

And thus, we are still on the same roller coaster that we are trying to get off today

Just sayin'...
