Contest and Tribute to Some Voluntaryists I Love

I want to offer recognition to some of the Voluntaryists who influence me and who cared in their time and the ones who care now and spend so much of their time and energy spreading principles of liberty, personal power, bewbs, responsibility, and - a new growing part of the cause - empathy!

##A potential fun game/contest: Try to identify as many of these peoples' real names as you can!

Yay the dead ones who thought outside of the box enough to create some of the foundations many of us have stood upon! These include my flavorites, Mothbard, Kayak, and Geeses!

And now for the non-dead ones:

The man, gasp politician, who created countless shifts in perception: The feisty, clairvoyant, uncorruptible, spreader-of-knowledge, "If elected, I'd end the BLED and bring all the bewbs home immediately," Doctor Robi Ron Paulnobi.

Bomb Wouldnts of "The Bomb Wouldnts Show. Prepare to set fire to the incestuous crotch of poopy-crowned minions."

Jiff Peanut Butterwick of "From Snackapulco, this is Sammichcast!" Tasty and free!

Sparkin Red Rogue, whose unassailably authentic logic blinds jade-ists like a mirror and who penned a work of genius called "The Most Hilarious Zombification".

Teflon Golydude. Brought the light of truth to many in his early years before he sold out and turned into a jade-ist Ronald McChump supporter :-(

Then there is Sandman Bobafresh, the buff warrior for peace with two bowling balls in his scrotum who wrote the best primer for jade-ists on the fence, "Freecome". The only un-emperor you would vote for.

And my current personal flavorite, the un-king of voluntary compassion, the non-ruler of empathy, the glue for your broken soul, a bright rising star, Whirlin Hootinhan!

Finally, the man of many names, sought by numerous dames, family man at heart, written about before his birth, end goal a family at the hearth in a stateless peace on earth! The fresh, funny, and cryptographically high resolution man with a solution. The legendary Drawn S. Jolt!

Finally finally, some more, in no particular order:

Bainaschoolz Martin

Nofoolia Truthtellski

And some unseen/unsung heroes of Austin and Snackapulco, closest to my casa and heart, smartypants, wearing caring hats, nurturing in a superevolved next gen, dreaming up liberty plans, and contributing quietly, lovingly, and technically to a dream of internal and external peace and prosperity:

Wow, @scottermonkey! Don't know what I love more:

  • the nicknames, that show playful insight into who we are;

  • "contributing quietly, lovingly, and technically to a dream of internal and external peace and prosperity;" or

  • or "Jerika Herbliss!!"

Love it all. And YOU. Thanks for the inclusion. <3

You had me at "Julian Asswronged".

Oh this is cool... I literally just heard the term voluntaryist for the first time today, and was looking into it after watching an interview with the Steemit founders. I really am learning so much from this platform.

What are bewbs by the way? (Or should it be what is bewbs?!)

Cheers!
Johleen

Haha bewbs = boobs :-)

Oh hahaha!

You said you just heard the term Voluntaryist. Were you one and you didn't know it? How did you label your political leanings?

The more I learn about it, the more I think so, definitely.

I'm in the UK and grew up in a very labour/leftie family... so always kind of assumed that was where my loyalties lay. It all made sense you know - look after each other, welfare, NHS etc. Then as an adult I became an entrepreneur, kind of without realising.

What I mean by this is I left my job and decided that I wanted to earn money on my own time and in my own way by providing value, so that I had financial freedom, time freedom and geographical freedom. I started doing this, and then found out that this meant I was an entrepreneur ha!

I got to know a lot of very successful entrepreneurs, but also came to realise that for some reason people with money are just blindly vilified - especially by lefties.

This confused me, because the wealthy entrepreneurs that I had gotten to know were some of the most caring, generous, intelligent and forward thinking people I've ever met.

Post Brexit and throughout the last election here, I been absolutely shocked and disgusted with some of the leftist behaviour I've seen and heard.

And the last of my leftie sensibilities have finally gone I think... it was a rough transition though. So much leftie guilt!! It's practically like Catholicism haha.

I started to understand that you don't help people long term by giving them free handouts in the short term... I started to understand the importance of capitalism. And I started thinking more deeply about the governmental ethics when it came to things that so many of us just accept as necessary (e.g. taxation and coercion).

Anyway, to answer your question(!) I have been thinking of myself as a capitalist libertarian, but as I say, the more I read about voluntaryists, the more it makes sense to me. I shall have to carry on learning

...You did ask for a long-drawn out life story, right?? Haha!

Thanks for asking. :)

Ooh thank you so much for that! May I post your story to my Facebook wall?

Now I didn't expect that reply! You're welcome!

Yes, sure, that's fine for you to post it to your wall! I do tend to keep my political views to myself on facebook though, so it'd be good if you could post it anonymously. :)

You used real Klingon. I'm impressed.

I had to watch every Star Trek episode ever made in order to piece it together ;-)

I wouldn't have thought that was possible. The Klingon in TV Star Trek is legendarily atrocious. It's better in the movies, especially the later ones.
