I voted today in our local election and I’m actually excited about it.
There are some city council members that actually care and are trying to get Recreational MJ on the ballot here finally! That would be huge for the job market here and really help the community. When we sit around and watch our surrounding cities take in millions and we miss out on all that tax money and revenue it is rough.
Feeling hopeful this time around though. So grateful I got my ballot in even though I was grinding hard all day I made it there with 10 minutes to spare 💜
Now I’m just wondering can we hurry up and get this voting on the blockchain? It would be so much more effecient that way 😀

Good luck with the election! It's been a boon for Denver in some ways, and the negatives - that we're being gentrified hardcore - will lessen as more areas adopt it so it's not all here as far as opportunity goes. This is one of the reasons why I wish it would pass nationally - then it would be evened out!
Also, we are finally righting some wrongs and beginning to wipe records of people who had minor pot convictions on their record. It's been legal for some time now, but we failed to do that at first, which was ridiculously unfair, especially since having a conviction meant you couldn't work in the industry!
