    It depends, if you have enough coins to stake regularly then you could go solo. There's far less maintenance with using the pool but payouts can be weeks apart..

      Cool. For now I think I will stick with the pool until I learn more. I am on mac and it has been a nightmare to get everything setup. I am still downloading the block because even snapshot doesn't work right.
