Obviously, there's a lot of talk -- factual or not -- about voter suppression.

I've gotta say, there are contexts in which I'm in favor of saying, "Fuck You. You don't get to vote."

I don't think that Californians should be allowed to vote on any national election or policy.

I was a resident of California in 2008. I voted. I lost on every vote.

I voted for the Libertarian candidate for president; so, I knew that that was gonna be a loss.

Prop 8 was on the ballot. For those of you who don't know, gay marriage was legally recognized in California, and Prop 8 was there to make gay marriage not legally recognized. I voted against Prop 8. I was in support of equal rights for gay couples before Obama and Clinton. The majority of Californians voted in favor of Prop 8.

I lost again.

There was a ballot measure to abolish the death penalty in California. I'm opposed to the death penalty. I voted in favor of the ballot measure.

I lost again. The majority of Californians voted to keep the death penalty.

As a local measure, being that I was living in LA at the time, there was a ballot measure requiring male porn actors to wear condoms.

This was a weird thing to have to vote on to begin with.

There are problems with the logic.

In regard to practical thinking, I figured that, if this law passed, the porn industry would just move to Simi Valley. Surely enough, the law passed, and the porn industry moved to Simi Valley.

When people were petitioning for the law, they were often talking about "the message" that it's sending when male porn actors don't wear protection. I maintain to this day that that argument makes it a First Amendment issue.

Again...I voted...I lost.

California isn't a state full of liberals. If she were, I'd still be there.

I mean, you people in California decided to retain a governor who thinks that a law requiring oil companies to hoard supplies will reduce the price of gas, over a black man who clearly has a functioning brain.
