thanks for the post. I have found myself upvoting my comments too much and it feels kind of weird. I like your approach very much as it lets your post or comment speak for itself. I understand upvoting your own post to get the ball rolling and it makes sense if you made it, you should normally believe that it is good content. I think upvoting comments should be left to the community like you said. Cheers.
