Voting power for newbies - plus find other stats about your Steemit account you should know about

When we vote on posts our Voting power is affected straight away, voting at 100% is the quickest way to lower your overall voting power.

Use the slider when voting to reduce your voting weight,

which will in turn lessen your actual voting power depleting sooner than voting at say 100%.
Some people might use as little as 1% on your post and some will say this is because your are not following them - fair enough

Did you know when you upvote a post or comment you can see where you sit versus others in relation to overall voting power?
This shows 3 upvotes on a comment and i was 2nd highest voting powered vote
