Vox Pathfinder amp 1965/66

This little gem is a small practice amp with tremelo and an 8 inch speaker and about 7? watts. They are similar to Fender Champs and Gibson Skylarks from that era

The last of the all vacuum Tube models of the Jennings era. This one was made in California and sounds really good. Shortly after this the Thomas Organ Company would go to "modern" transistors and the Jennings era would be over. It's a really long complicated story that i'm sure no one cares about so i won't go into any more detail other than to say tubes/valves are better, at least to my ears.

Original Vox Logo tubes or valves if you prefer. These are Mullards made in England and still work great and sound great. Quality was a whole different animal back in those days. Guitars and amps would last forever with a little care and maintanance! Looks like i forgot the El-84 power tube for some reason. Anyway here are the preamp tubes and rectifier tube.
