Voyager 2 and it s fabulous voyage.

I feel stunned as I happen to think of it . In the summer of 1989, 27 years ago, the spacecraft Voyager 2, launched by Nasa, had achieved taking the photographs of Neptune(currently the farthest planet from us in the milkway system ). The spacecraft Voyager 2, which sent these photographs to our world and traveled about 5,000 kilometers over the northern pole of Neptune, had not gotten this close to the planet throughout its 12 years’ flight. Five hours after this passing-by , the craft continued its flight at a distance of 40000 km to the Triton, the biggest satellite of the planet, which was the last solid object to be observed by the craft, before leaving the planet. As far as I know, the craft will keep on going for about 10 years with its fuel deposited leading us to a feeling of fascinating adventure. Now I give you a link to some of these photos. Although there have been taken as many as 30,000 photographs, we need to be contented with five or ten of them.
