The difference between romantic love and platonic love.

Romantic love and platonic love have two different kinds of intimacy to explore.

🌸Romantic love of course, has a sexual intention... it teaches us lessons and brings up things we need to navigate in our own soul in order to honor the love for self. This being said, it often creates situations of the heart that we need to learn from in order to evolve and love ourselves more.
🌼Platonic love has an unconditional , straightforward love ...a soul contract, connection that is not sexual, that encourages the parts of us we have already discovered and are working on.
Platonic love is already a partnership of the soul this love is straightforward with no fears that we will loose the person if we are truthful and honest.
🌸Romantic love works on unmasking the image and digging deeper into our truth. It helps us refine and uncover the parts of ourselves that we need to work on for our souls evolution. This love gets sticky and often confuses sex for love, which when we identify the difference between theses two, will assist in our refinement of self love and creation. It is more challenging and makes us take a look at the ways we don’t know how to love ourselves.
I have crushes on all my friends🙃
But find it hard to connect physically on any level with anyone (except hugs...I’m a great hugger... so i practice this, often)
I have all platonic and have to talk myself into love with a sexual connotation.
On my own path, I am embracing loving myself and slowing learning how to be closer and intimate with others ...knowing that I don’t have to be scared that all they want is sex. I’m learning that people do just want to love me... not treat me like a conquest or play games just to eventually have sex with me.
I’m usually the lone wolf, not letting people get close, but keeping the ones I already trust close, and learning to practice vulnerability with them. 💚
