My dad, Donald Melvin Rasp Arnold, was married to Janet Coppes from 1971 to 1978, roughly seven years and probably together for those first six years through to 1977 according to these papers.

I don't know anything about Janet as of the writing of this in 2022. I don't know how my dad met her and how that turned into a marriage. I don't know anything relating to the divorce.

Over the years, I've heard my dad was once married to somebody named Janet. That is all I would hear as far as I can recall. I was not given details.

Not only was my dad married in the 1970s, my mom was married for a few years in the 1970s as well. They both married people. They both divorced and ended up marrying each other in 1980.
