Cooking tasty naija fried rice on a budget of less than N1000

There are moments we desire to eat tasty delicacies that are pocket draining, however this desire of ours is quickly cut short by our current financial incapability to afford such luxury. One of such cost expensive meal is Fried rice.
Fried rice is a delicious Nigerian rice delicacy. It is christened fried rice because it involves frying rice and some of its other ingredients.
In this post I'll illustrate how you can prepare the tasty meal on a budget of less than N1000($3), sounds interesting right? Yeah it's possible.
Here are the ingredients you'll need to cook your fried rice
1)maggi - N20(4 cubes)
2)rice - N400 (2 cups)
3)salt - N50
4)peper - N20
5)onions - N50
6)Curry - N20
7)groundnut oil - N70
8)beef - N150
Give an Aboki N200 to help you with carrot, green beans and peas.

Now that our ingredients ready we'll now proceed with the cooking of our tasty fried rice.
Firstly parboil the rice and set aside
Boil the beef with one of the Maggi cube and reserve the meat water
Chop the carrot, green beans and peas
Cut the beef into tiny bits as a substitute for liver
Fry the carrot green beans, peas and bits of beef you cut earlier
Add the meat water to the oil
Add two teaspoon of salt
Cut onions and add
Let it boil then add the parboiled rice
Add one and half cube of Maggi, a teaspoon of pepper and curry
Leave to done
And here's what we have after applying the above process, cheap to make yet tasty. It probably tastes better than that of KFC!


Yummy right. The good things of life are almost free.The total of everything would be 980 leaving us with N20, use that one for pure water.
