WHAT IS WACOINDA???

I’m glad you asked! Wacoinda is a group that was beyond my comprehension a year ago. When I was invited to join by one of my fraternity brothers I thought that I would find a bunch of comic book nerds with a bit of interest in finance. I could not have been further from the truth. What I found instead was a group that has created and nurtured a community of like-minded and like-hearted individuals who are passionate about eradicating economic oppression through education, unity and the use of technological advancements. The group was founded by Lamar Wilson and Lafe Taylor and originally called the Black Coin Group but the moniker was changed as the group developed organically to reflect the open nature and broad reaching dynamics held within the community.

As a single parent and someone who has not had the most picturesque upbringing I have been so grateful for being introduced to this amazing group of people because it has literally changed my life. A lot of my existence has been about mitigating circumstances and while I have been able to navigate the challenges life has thrown my way I have been focused on surviving rather than thriving for the majority of my adult life. While I had grown up and found the courage to walk away from things in my life that were unhealthy and holding me down I hadn’t been inspired with the hope of stepping into a future that was going to help me and my family grow and change the narrative moving forward. This group has completely changed not only my way of thinking but also the vision that I have for my family’s future. I have been exposed to more valuable information, education, support and love in the short time I have been in the group than I ever had in the previous 43 years of my life.

I didn’t grow up with a lot of education and information about financial management, credit, investing, business development, and definitely nothing about blockchain or cryptocurrency! One of the things that immediately struck me when I joined the group was the member led push to share information that was not only helpful but life changing. From workshops on investing and learning about cryptocurrency to professional development opportunities and financial empowerment the information was overflowing!! Every question I have ever asked has been met with sincerity and a spirit of kindness that I was not used to. The community is truly unified in their commitment to the vision of the founders and to one another as not only group members but family. In the last six months I have begun to develop myself as an Independent Business Owner, become an investor in an IPO, started a stock portfolio, restructured my household finances, started fixing my credit and even gotten my children started on a path that will ensure that they don’t make some of the same mistakes I did due to lack of or misinformation. When you know better you do better and Wacoinda has been crucial to me taking control over being in the know.

I can’t speak for the mythical Wakanda but I can absolutely vouch for the real life value and impact that the Wacoinda group has had for me. I have never experienced a group dynamic that is so authentic and full of unselfish love for others. Those of us who are committed to the vision have seen how passionate and purposeful everyone involved becomes once they understand the potential and life affirming power of such a community. This group is beyond box office and fandom, it’s epic in its impact and irreplaceable in its importance to the future of continuing to empower our communities. It’s about love and being active about sharing it with those around us. Regardless of the name, the love will remain the same because the hearts of the people in Wacoinda are amazing. I’m proud and honored to be a
member of the tribe. WE ARE ONE IN WACOINDA!!!!
