Poverty: Who is to be blamed? Parents or Government of the country?

I have seen a lot of children go through pains, suffer endlessly selling sachet water and putting food on their head to sell just because they were born into a poor home with no food and shelter. The money made from the sales will be taken back to their parents at the end of the day.

Anytime I go around and see a young boy or girl (age 5-10) selling things on the road or high way, my heart bleed. I feel the pains and suffering and I give the little I have to such children. This act is very common here in Africa as you can see from the picture above and it is becoming very rampant as day goes by. This thought always come to my mind, who is to be blamed? The parents or the government of the country?
It is true that the government of a nation is suppose to create jobs and increase the standard of living for the masses. But the government of most Africa countries have failed to do this. We languish in suffering and struggle and most parents now use their own children to generate income for themselves whereas it is suppose to be the other way round.

The children are being forced to the street to sell and hustle money at a very young age exposing to the vices of the outside world. At this age, they become easily influenced by peer group to join bad gang and perpetrate evil acts in the society and this is one of the reason why criminal act is common in the Africa countries.

My fellow dear Africans, it is true that our government and leaders have failed to perform their duty to our countries. We have been left behind to suffer and make a living in a hard way. Our resources are being left shallow with no intention to improve the economy stability of our countries but we shouldn't contribute to these present issues by letting our young children roam around the street at a very young age and joining bad gangs due to immature mindset.

Exposing them to the street life make them commit criminal act and when caught, they will be beaten, disgraced and embarrassed by the community and armies. I am very sure no parents want to see their children beaten by the community? Unless for the wicked parents.

As parents, we are to go out to make a living for our family, hustle to feed and train our children in school. If we were born into poverty, it doesn't mean we should make our children go through the same pains we went through. If the government refuses to provide the basic human wants for us, we can create them ourselves. We can be self employed, create our own businesses, do farm work to make some money to train our children in school. The money we invest in our children lives will definitely yield positive result

Instead of blaming the ineffective government for their deficiency, let us think of what we can do to make legal money to train our children in school.
Instead of using our children as hawkers, let us invest positively in their lives so that tomorrow they will become useful and contribute positively to the society and the country at large.
