Qatar's Advisory Council Speaker Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Zayed al-Mahmud said that without the help of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it would not have been possible for Qatar to face the all-out impedance imposed by Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt.

He said that after the imposition of a ban on Qatar on June 5 last year, neighboring Iran opened its sky and seashore for canoeing. Qatar could not send out its people or goods, unless Iran cooperated. In response to a question about the ongoing cooperation and relationship between Iran and Qatar, Ahmad bin Abdullah said these words.

He talked about Iran-Qatar relationship with reporters in the 138th meeting of the recent inter-parliamentary union in Geneva city of Switzerland.

On June 5 last year four Saudi-based Arab states imposed sanctions on Qatar on various charges, including support for terrorism and their relationship with Iran. But Iran immediately stood beside Qatar. Turkey, another country in the Middle East, came forward with the help of Qatar. Saudi Arabia is angry with the neighbors' actions. #
