Nigerians have embraced the blockchain technology. It is exciting to know that steemit.com have become more popular than Facebook and the eyes of tech savvy Nigerians have drifted towards taking advantage of this new technology because it is the future.
As of the 29th of March, 2018, Nigeria climbed the ladder to take second place in Google trends as countries that use the website.
It is not long before we take first place. The Nigerian community of steemians work hard to promote the steem block chain in the country. In just four months, we have had more than 6 meetups in different parts of the country and we have more coming.
Steem in Nigeria is coming up in October and it promises to be the bomb!

to an older nigerian all you are doing is using the internet to improve your own condition not the countries. they don't see that peoples income is changing. nor do they see the growth that occurs thanks to participating in such a vast network of minds.
the elders in our countries have driven us into poverty and perpetuated it with their stale paradigms. just make sure yor not sharing money with a government made up of those terrible elders who abuse their responsibility as shepherds of the next generation then blame us for their failures!!
