Let's talk about Love

✌ Yea... I know my caption instantly reminds you of a song that still sticks till date. A song by the late pop legend Michael Jackson He talked about our deferences in race, tribe, religion but Love is what unites us or let me rephrase that. Love is what should unite us.

Well let's really talk about love. Love can be one thing, two things, many things and more to some people. But what really is love?
Love is something some embrace other dread,. some want and some fear.

Personally i feel love is deeper than just an emotional state of affection. Love is beyond feeling. Just as a mothers love for her child is incomparable, so also we trying to qualify and quantify love is just a No No.

Can someone reject love? One thing I love and hate about love is that it has in itself the ability to bring out the best and the worst in people. Okay now let's gossip...
I met a lady at the hotel last night and we got talking, We talked about so many irrelevant things (well that happens sometimes) and then we talked about relationships. She made some statements that promted me to ask her a personal question like ** Have you ever been In love** The reason I asked was she has set road blocks around herself that made it almost impossible to feel any emotion whatsoever for anyone. It got me thinking "How did it get this bad" then being that councellor that I am I began saying things to her, Things I felt would help her. Not being able to love is like a disease. But who am I to blame her and them? people have been hurt and who prays to get hurt again?

Let's be awear that some people come into our lives for a reason and others for a season. The problem starts when we expect one to exceed his season.

Friendships, relationship and hurts are sisters whether you like it or not. Its the people we love the most that hurts us the most. this cuts across every part of life, from family to friends to spouses. Learn to move on to what lies ahead and not hold on to what happened in the past. The past is past and the future is here already, don't destroy the future because of the past. If it didn't work out then its not supposed to. If he breaks your heart don't judge others by the mistakes of one you just might be chasing away the best.

Anyone who cannot stay In your life doesn't deserve you.
