This small, but very cute bird is called a wagtail. If the child is very frisky, adults, they can jokingly call him by the name of this bird. This bird moves very fast on the ground. She does not jump, like a sparrow does, she runs like a chicken. This bird not only runs fast, it flies perfectly.

Due to this, it destroys many mosquitoes and flies. Due to this quality, this bird is very useful for people.

In the autumn, these birds fly to warm regions, in the spring they return, to continue their kind.

Imagine, this bird largely depends on the presence of other animals in this area. The fact is that they nest their nest from animal hair. Fallen with moult hair, serves as a building material.

This wagtail I photographed on the shore of the lake, there are many flying insects that are suitable for them as food. But, I have seen wagtails many times in places where there are no reservoirs. They like to run and swim in the dust of dirt roads.

Wagtail is many kinds, to be precise, then, in these photos Motacilla alba - White wagtail is depicted.

This bird does not have a very complicated song, but, she sings it and enters into the ranks of songbirds.

Where is this bird commonly found? Is it North American? European?

Thank you @jbus ! This is my omission. The bird lives in Europe, Asia and North Africa. I made these pictures in Moldova.

I didn't think it was North American because I have never seen it.

I did not find information that this bird lives in North America. So, it's not there. But, sometimes, some birds meet where they should not be.
