Something happened

It feels like the world is turned upside down,
And I can see my shadow walking with a frown,
Even when the smile on my face is enough to light up the entire milky-way galaxy;
So, I wonder what I am not seeing?

It seems like yesterday is today, today was yesterday - tomorrow what of tomorrow?
That, it's simply lost in the hollow of a future unknown.

The pace at which the world moves left me dazed,
Clearly, I can see myself aged;
Like the whole world left long ago,
Despite all the speed and haste,
I could not believe it - little me is still late.
An uncountable number of questions riot on my mind,
Making my thinking faculty go numb, but limbs too weak to bear the weight,
Huh! Am I riding a snail?

I tried to stay up all night,
Maybe I can see the goddess of luck pass by - so I can flirt with her.
A night in her skirt should make things alright.

Still, every bit remain ill;
Like a ride up a steep coarsely hill.
Quit! Quit!! Quit!!!
Keeps echoing hard in the larger hall of my mind,
Gears wear out quickly during the grind; the hustlings run aground,
Mum, can I have one more chance to play around?
