The bible teaches us what people we should look for in life, if we want God or life to give us good things we must live with those people who really know the art of living, on the other hand, if we walk with fools we should not expect more than problems: Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20.
The sages in the Bible represent the people who have reached spiritual perfection in every sense, the full likeness to God through the Gnosis (inner enlightenment): "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect", Matthew 5:48.
Perception with the sight of physical objects can be compared to the perception with the intelligence of the truth. The fool perceives the path of life blurred, like the one who has myopia with his eyes, on the other hand, the wise perceive with clarity the existence of things and the truth, that is why the bible tells us: "The wise have eyes in their heads, while the fool walks in the darkness", Ecclesiastes 2:14.

We cannot expect good things from bad people, it is a matter of common sense: "Trouble pursues the sinner, but the righteous are rewarded with good things," Proverbs 13:21. There are two paths, the path of assertiveness (precision and accuracy) or the path of error, as explained in Psalm 1, the Psalm of the two paths: "For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction", Psalm 1:6.
Our actions have returns or devolutions, the universe has ethical laws, of balance and learning: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life" Galatians 6:7-8.
In life the in-between are rare, we have to choose between black or white, between light or darkness, we are friends or enemies of God.
