I Love Chocolate, But ...

If you find yourself in Philly and you're in the mood for a serious food coma, you could do no better then to head over to the Reading Terminal Market.

You'll have to brave the ever-present crowds and then it's "good-luck" trying to find a place to sit and eat. Yes, the RTM is an extremely popular food destination in Philadelphia.

There's so much delicious food packed into this old historic building that you'll have a really hard time deciding what to eat.

And, by chance, if you have any room left for dessert, there are plenty of choices:

Below are some images at the Mueller Chocolate Company, including some chocolate-covered onions 😱😳
Family owned and operated since 1980, Mueller Chocolate Co. is perhaps as well known for their sense of humor as they are for their hand-made chocolates and candies. Their anatomically correct chocolate hearts and lungs have been featured by Ripley’s Believe it or Not! and the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmern, and their Tower (a chocolate-cloaked stack including a Rice Krispies treat, a chocolate chip cookie, an Oreo cookie, a marshmallow, and a peanut-butter cup) was hailed by Zagat as one of the 10 most decadent chocolate desserts in Philly.

Oh man my mouth is full of WATER now!!!

The sign says Chocolate covered strawberries, but those don't look like strawberries to me. ;)
Looks like a foodie's paradise. I hope you went hungry. As long as you had cash, I doubt you left hungry. :P

Well, anyone who mixes up strawberries and onions, probably has no business eating chocolate anyways ;-)

I managed to escape after consuming a sausage, onion & peppers sub from Franks-A-Lot and a couple of awesome, still-warm, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from Famous 4th Street Cookie Company.

It's true!

Now I'm craving Bratwurst. Is it Oktoberfest yet? I could eat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies all day. Wouldn't mind some of them having raisins rather than chocolate chips though. I don't discriminate. :)

Good looking treats. Wish I was a kid again!! lol

Haha, I can't help you with that but, don't worry, you can still eat chocolate!!!

Great Post!
This place looks amazing. It also reminds me of Chelsea Market in NYC.

Yes indeed, it's the same basic idea, although Chelsea Market is a little more upscaled. And that reminds me that I want to go back to NYC and walk the High -Line this spring!

Wow so many chocolates around wow i love it the chocolate heaven :D

Omg those are definitely the weirdest, grossest chocolates I have ever seen hahaha, thank you so much for sharing with us, I would have never guessed such a thing existed...

Wow nice chocolate ... I hope its really very testy can you give me this chocolate .. I like this ..

Chocolates are beautiful to behold and sweet at the same time. Buh hey! Too much of it brings more pain than happines. I lost a tooth to decay caused by too much intake of chocolates as a kid. Now I find it difficult eating meats.

The chocolate covered ONIONS definitely caught my eye! LOL!

Out of all the people who buy them, I wonder if anyone actually eats one? Yuck ;-)

That's awesome, thanks!!!

HAHA I love that they used Tyrion hahaaha randomly awesome upvote gif lololol

Why would anyone want to waste such wonderful chocolate on an onion?! Nope. I'll pass on that and I never pass on chocolate. I'd be willing to take a kidney though. Those look pretty nice.
