Walk With Me Down to the Lake and the Old Stone Fort (Video)

in walkwithme •  7 years ago  (edited)

I've begun working on getting used to the sound of my voice in videos, it's a little awkward at this point but it will get easier- eventually you'll actually see me in one of these :) I didn't end it where I intended because I spotted my dog Lucy running up to greet some strangers (she's a sweetheart, but a pitbull, so people tend to get nervous) Also, you can tell I've been spending a lot of time with my mom, I usually don't swear when she's anywhere in the vicinity, replacing my words with hers, which is highly entertaining to hear myself say.

Such a peaceful place, ideal to walk or simply relax! :)

It definitely is :)

Great rhyme in the start of the video as "Hello Steemit This Is Dreemit". And thanks for introducing this place with us, and literally speaking in first view not so attractive but as we walked forward the real beauty started to born and in my opinion this place is really perfect for quite sitting to lose the depressive thoughts and negativity while exploring the beauty of nature. And the addon beauty was the sun light on the water and music of water. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

Wishing you the same- bless ;)

Thank you so much. 🙂

In an environment like that, I would definitely be able to write more about black magic without feeling completely sick. Thank you for sharing. I have been reading 6 of the chapters of what I can remember and I am going to continue the read, although I have sensations about where it's heading :)

That makes sense, like watching horror movies on a bright sunny day ;)

I have to tell you that the book you're reading is one I wrote as an exercise and for fun- I also put through two novels on steemit that are part of a supernatural series called the Allies of Old- a hell of a lot different than this one lol.

You've done a great job writing it. What I like most about the reading itself is that the chapters are short. It is very easy to follow, even if one would take a break for a few days. You have a talent to put people in a sleeping bag, having provided them with your book and a flashlight before closing the zipper. I like reading different, complex and sometimes outright sick 'Bleeps!'. So I might check out the other novels as well some time =)

What a compliment- and a very poetic way to put it :)
I'm the same, extremely eclectic in taste when it comes to reading- from wholesome to deranged ha ;)
I also have a short story fiction series that is philosophical in nature. At some point I'm going to write more of them, then I'll link the previous ones :)

Bugger it, I can't seem to get any sound out of D Tube any more. It used to work...

That stinks! Lucky for you, I have a youtube version too...lol. I'll post it in discord.

Wow, the photos don't do it justice! It is so beautiful. I like your voice. It's hot :OD

What's up with the eye!

Exactly, that was a peculiar bit of grafitti!

I thought it might be a good idea to take video- glad it was! Haha, why thank you, that compliment will help me in the future for sure ;) (And ditto me boom, loveee hearing you talk :)

It really is peculiar, especially around here!

I would be on red alert stage 3 assuming that they had found me!!!

;0)

How many stoned cats were chilling at the Stone Cat? :D

There were lots of us, not sure of a number haha!

More and more videos to come then! That place is perfect for meditation and inspiration.

Superb virtual walk, what a beautiful place you grew up in...is that a lake or the ocean? What were those things by the docks, I've never seen those before.

I was pretty shocked when you panned over to all the graffiti hahaha! Talk about out of place that's so cool! What an awesome spot to explore as a child, totally having Goonies flashbacks :) :) :)

Hi there! Thank you- I'm definitely grateful for the time we've had there :) It's Seneca Lake, one of the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY. 31 miles long, several miles wide. Those are boat hoists- I think that's what you mean right? We just now left winter behind so a few more weeks and there will be actual boats in the hoists ;)

Goonies! Love that movie, it really was a bit Goonie like :)

Ooh awesome, yeah I've never seen a boat hoist before! And is the water so high because of the spring runoff then?

I didn't hear in the video, where is this lake ? Actually, which is this Lake ?
Aaah, I saw in the tags Seneca Lake...

Yep, it's one of the Finger Lakes in upstate NY :)

wow that place is truly a nature hidden gem :)

Nice place and it is better place to pass time with our favourite person.

that was a beautiful walk along with you so nice to see around :)

How has the listing gone so far, sis? Has a bidding war erupted yet? Did it become bloody? I imagine the whole property would be able to fetch a pretty penny in the open market.

She had two potential buyers, but one couldn't get the mortgage and the other- we don't know. Still lots of showings scheduled though.

The delays seem to be a double edged sword! At least you could take more time with the property.
