Novacadian's Nova Scotia Biking Tours (Part 5)

in walkwithme •  6 years ago  (edited)

Right off the top it should be made clear that a stop at the library was not expected to take the light from the room of the bike ride on Wednesday's tour. This became the case, however, because of it being my first visit to the library's roof top cafe and it blew me away.

For that, thanks must be given to my companion who would prefer to remain anonymous.

The main city library is only a few years old. The architecture is very modern.

The interior is lovely and spacious...

Being such a hot day we decided on a locally crafted Kombucha with rose petal flavoring as our beverage. Kudos to
Goodmore brewers.

It was a delicious choice to take in the summer city sights from the rooftop cafe!

After finishing our drinks we reluctantly returned to the humid streets below.

It was a nice peddle home. Luckily my bike made a background appearance in the next pic to prove this actually was a bike ride if you missed my cameo reflection in the picture above. Can you find the bike? 😎

Just have to add this pic of the flowers at their best....

Happy traveling @novacadian. Must be a pleasure getting the sights and sounds of Nova Scotia

Yes, reaching further and further afield this summer. My endurance seems to have reached new levels. Thanks for your #ridewithme. 😎

You're welcome @novacadian.

Wow, great view from the cafe! That's cool! 😃

Not sure what has taken me so long to visit the rooftop cafe. It was not my first time in the building, either, so there is no excuse. It's going to be a regular stop from now on, though. 😎

Love that library and yes I saw that bike in the glass. Nice ride, thank you for taking us along. :)))

Thanks for joining in on the #ridewithme. 😎

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Luckily my bike made a background appearence in the next pic to prove this actually was a bike ride.
It should be appearance instead of appearence.

Thank you @grammernazi. You give nazis a good name. 😎

That library is spectacular! It looks like a modern art museum. I could stay lost in there for days.

P.S. Some nice pics of the building in a duckduckgo image search....

It is a wonderful hangout. There is a small auditorium as well for musical events. The local symphony orchestra is scheduled to play there in the near future. It certainly redefines what a library can be to a community.

Buenas noche amiga excelentes imágene, me encantaron,

Duerma bien!

There was a lovely breeze at the rooftop cafe. Nice old fashioned clouds in the distance too. 😎
