Rucking Florida

in walkwithme •  7 years ago

The fam and I made a quick trip down to Florida to spend time with my wife's family down that way.

You know I had to get a quick ruck in!

One of the ubiquitous lakes in the area! I forget the name of this one.

I walked by Pulse Nightclub and even almost 2 years after the horrible events here a dark cloud hangs over the building. A somber place right in the middle of the booming Orlando metropolis.

Back in the neighborhoods many of the older streets are brick. Kind of an interesting thing that you don't see too often.

I do love big old trees draped by nature with Spanish Moss. So stately and majestic in my opinion.

And although I didn't ruck there we finished off our Florida trip with a stop at Goruck HQ!

Unfortunately I didn't get to meet many of the Goruck folks, but it was cool to stop in and leave them some Virginia beer in the fridge!

very good review, good images, I felt for a moment that I was there in Florida, extraordinary photos.

I really loved how gloomy that first photo looked with the road and the water...perfect walking/running atmosphere!
