Superstaxtala Production #21: Walk with me, Weekend!💙

Hello, weekend and hello, dear Steemians! So good to be back!💃

I’ve been out for I think more than a week because the demand of my work has been unbearable, so high that it literally drained my energy to the highest level. February went by so fast that I didn’t even notice it’s already March. I am just so glad that I finally have some time to spare again and at the same time, I am just so glad that I finally have a weekend off after 4 straight months! Yey!! (💃happy dance💃)

As you may already know based on the title of this post, I want you to walk with me on my way to Art Fair Philippines 2018. I’ve been wanting to do a #walkwithme post since the first time I read a post like this from @hitmeasap, which is actually inspired by @lyndsaybowes.

I knew this day would be fun because as I walk out of our building, this Hello Kitty car greeted me.

I walk by Leviste, Valero and Sedeno St. every single day to work, for groceries, to meet up with friends, etc. When I get sentimental, I sometimes sing in my head Red Hot Chili Pepper's Under the Bridge specifically because of this part "I drive (walk) on her streets 'cause she's my companion." I don't know why, but I do sometimes feel like these streets are my only companion, a silent one, because they have been a part of my daily life. Take a look at some snaps.

Everytime I need to go to Glorietta, SM Makati or Greenbelt, I would always choose to pass by Ayala Triangle and Greenbelt Park. Being in the middle of this concrete jungle in the Philippines, it's always nice to have greens in your view. Also before heading directly to The Link where Art Fair is being held, I decided to pass by Landmark first to cool down a bit after the good 10 to 15-minute walk under the hot temperature of Makati. I spent a good 4 to 5 hours just looking at the paintings and installations inside the Link with @chileprop. I met with him there and of course, he took some of the photos.😅 We even saw Kidlat Tahimik but we were just too shy to take a photo with him. But that's alright, what matters is that we appreciate their art.

On my way back home, I took the same route so the view is almost the same.

Well, wouldn't it be nice to end the day with a little beer? Besides, I've worked my ass out for the past few days so I guess I deserve a treat.😅✌
