It's really cool! The growing season is much longer too right? Do you get to eat much fresh fish and seafood? Though my daughter has me thinking of being vegan. It would be a very yogi thing of me to do. But bleh! I dislike labels and being any certain way! I have been living in AB for 20 years! Minus 2 months i lived in Costa Rica. I spent the first 20 years in central SK. And, dreamed of living in BC!! Didn't quite get there lol. Not sure what the future hold. Just trying to get my bearings here for the next bit. Then decide what's next. Did you live in ON the rest of your life? Where did you live there?

Yes was born in Toronto, lived in Toronto and on the outskirts of the City as it grew to 6 million people. Still love certain parts of it, but it has gotten so crazy. Lived in Germany as a child for 3 years. Wanted to move to Salt Spring Island, but didnt get there either. Was not feasible, with family in Ontario. I have been to Alberta 5 times. Two of my children lived there for quite some time. Now one is here in Nova Scotia and the other in Ontario. Yes we eat lots of fresh fish from here and seafood. It is a most wonderful place. The growing season is much the same as in Ontario. Winters are wet. They dont really start until January. It is a poor province though as far as what the province can provide as we only have one million people in the whole province. But it is rich in so many other ways. Such a wholesome goodness from the people and the land. So much fresh air and open land and water. I love the beach and we have lots of unspoiled beaches. yes I dont like labels. I have tried it all. Vegan, vegetarian, blah blah. I eat what mother nature intended me to eat. Real food ..that works for me. xx

Sorry for the delay in responding Marion. It's great to get to know you a bit more! I have not traveled east of central Saskatchewan. I bet there's lots to love about Ontario! Especially the growing season. But, i can feel the allure of the east coast, the gentle climate and extended growing season, of course the sea and all the glory of that! Personally, it would be challenging to leave the mountains. But, life has it's way! It's a mystery how things will end up. It's wonderful you do have family close. That's a great blessing!!
