I Found Out What's Missing From Their Straighttalk Cellphone Service
$50/mo for unlimited text and calls, with a decent (yet small) data package.
Wal-Mart demands such low prices, you'll nearly always find something wrong with the products they sell. The manufacturers often have to cut corners to meet the price point they demand. Clothing so cheaply made it starts coming apart after 6 washes. Name brand coolers made without insulation. Electronics with cheaper components and missing 'features.'
The Good
The straighttalk service is mainly awesome, running off the Verizon network of cell towers. Never really had a problem with signal or service, regardless of where I was. If cell towers were around, my phone worked great. (Can't say the same about at&t. Ouch)
The Missing
Live operator for directory service. Horrible, horrible, horrible automated system. Use the internet on your phone, quicker and significantly more reliable than calling directory assistance. Wow
Computing power for the customer service reps. I spent over an hour on the phone, switching an account to a new phone... the rep had me wait nearly 30 minutes, in 2 minute increments as they "Waited for the computer system to catch up."
I'm thinking I used the wrong tags...
lol
