Preparing for Wanchain hitting exchanges - a summary

I am conscious that there are a lot of posts asking when, where and at what price Wanchain will be hitting exchanges. We do not have any specifics at this point but, in summary:

When: most rumours hint toward a 24/25 January 2018.

Where: Binance is the favourite though, given the Chinese connections for this coin, KuCoin is also very likely. It is recommended that investors who want to get in early make accounts on each of these in advance of the coin listing and put these accounts in funds. Opening price: this is even more ambiguous and uncertain, though we know that the ICO was at $0.35. Given the way ETH has grown since then and the hype around the coin, I personally don't think the initial price will be much less than $4, though I have seen predictions of anywhere between $2 and $8. The consensus is that the coin value is likely to rise initially (my best guesstimate being around the $12-15 mark, settling towards the lower end of that range by the end of week 1 trading).

Longer-term price: crystal-ball gazing is both impossible and ridiculously popular in cypto, but given the coin's strong name recognition with alt-investors and its supply, I personally expect to see a 3-figure coin by Q3 2018. Beyond that is total guesswork, linked to the success of the coin, the state of the crypto-market more generally and wider legal, political and economic factors.

In summary, all of the above is a best guess and clearly none of it should be definitively relied on. Anyone on Reddit or elsewhere who professes to know how this coin will do or when and where it will list, as at the date of this post, is BS'ing.

New posters - please, please stop regurgitating the same where/when/how questions on this sub and lets make this sub's discussion more analytical and useful! The coin is great, the underlying product and utility is exciting and promising - let's have a sub to match.
