If you are not expecting anything, you wont get anything. your expectations are the force that drives you towards achieving something. If you don't expect something, nothing will come your way.
Imagine you going on a journey without a destination in mind, when you get there, how will you know? The same way you won't know when you get what you are expecting unless you are really expecting them.
Once your mind is set up to achieve something, everything within you will be working towards achieving it, so expect to manifest.
