Drug War Stories: Dunked in Delaware, when the police become the prisoner

in war •  7 years ago

So this multigenerational war multi trillion dollar war when all the collateral costs and lives ruined by failed prohibition we might want to someday evaluate, is it worth it? Despite the best played scams of kleptorats and clowns, the facilities we send the those who dont not conform the unenforceable rules we legislate backed by the force of a barrel of a gun and a bunch of faux know it alls who tell ya it better than the alternative of living free and treating adults like adults.

So this human presumably cis gender male in Delaware was sentenced to only 2 and a half years in a cage. Time in the cage he risks quite likely much higher threats of murder, serious bodily harm or being sexually assaulted, perhaps being made a fish like the cop killer in "Half Baked"

The prison guard smuggled heroin and pot into the jail to help the prisoners deal with their shitty incarceration before re entering society with frequetly more damaged mental states and now a felon. I think these kinds of stories undermine the whole institution of the war on drugs. If they cant even mold these people into better people in instead we corrupt and criminalize previously not involved people then perhaps the intervention ain't worth it? What you think?

The War on Drugs is such a great way to telelogically manufacture autonomous people into more desired ones while nominally maximizing public welfare by victimizing the innocent for conduct that has no victims?

yea just to make a dime every few upvotes

The war isn't fought well as it should be. Prison should be a correction center but what we are seeing today is the opposite. A lot of corruption is going on in the prison. Good article.

they saw it during alcohol prohibition yesterday to, government arbitray interventions do one thing only impose tyranny and hurt people.
