As some of you may know there is a military coup in turkey, Unfortunately in the past every time there was an internal conflict in turkey it soon become a wider problem specially for my own country Greece.
I write this in hopes that this will not be the case yet again, that violence and gods forbid bloodshed will not happen, for the people have nothing against each other , A Turkish mother will cry just as hard as a Greek mother if her son is killed in a meaningless conflict.
Let us hope that reason and democracy will prevail.
I would really like some input from Turkish steemers, what is happening , why now and their own view on the matter, as i write this lines people seem to applaud for the army and the tanks that roam through the streets, thus maybe for them its better to have a military coup than Recep Tayyip Erdoğan , if that is indeed the case why is that?

While at first the world seemed that had totally abandoned Erdoğan , it took approximately 30 minutes after Obama supported him, for every other country to support him as well and the coup to stop dead in its tracks (while it seemed that the coup would be successful before that) , I hope that the people of Turkey will stand for whatever they truly wish for their country , as time and again the people in general have been used as mere pawns in the grand schemes of foreign powers
once again, I hope for the best possible outcome for the people of Turkey
