NORTH Korea has accused US President Donald Trump of “screaming in terror” as the hermit state accelerates its controversial nuclear war programme.

Donald Trump has taken a crude approach to the North Korea crisis during his presidency, warning despot Kim Jong-un the US would bring “fire and fury” to the country if provoked.
But Kim has hit back repeatedly with mocking dismissals of the US President, who the dicator has condemned in the past week alone as “dolt-like” and "smelly".
And now one of the Kim regime's official mouthpieces has lashed out at Mr Trump claiming, despite the bravado, the US President is terrified of North Korea’s growing strength.
