Why won't Forge World let us (most of us) have nice things?

For many of us who love Warhammer and all the superbly detailed resin-crack models produced by Forge World - Warhammer Fest is a time of great joy. We finally get a glimpse at all the new wonders they have produced for us, and then this joy is followed by rage - followed by despair- over the event exclusive sales model that the company insists on using. Why would a company in its right mind, refuse to sell merchandise to its customer base who are clamoring to purchase? Why only limit it to the local community and the few lucky bastards with the time/funds to fly out?

Case in point, look at this outrageously amaze-balls shirt! I would buy 7 of these, one for each day of the week. It's almost guaranteed to keep the cold ones - cold, the ladies all up-ons, and Rogal Dorn jealous.

Another example! An event exclusive mug, guaranteed to keep you coffee extra bitter and your grinds for the grind throne.

Thankfully, while I am desperate to acquire this Alpharius model, the indication seems to remain that I will at some point at least have a shot at ordering the beautiful and cleverest of Primarchs directly from the Forge World website.

While the shirts and mugs are never sold outside of the store in Nottingham, or these events, there have been times that models have also been event exclusive. Case in point here.

My plea here stands as this, Forge World, you make beautiful Warhammer shirts and mugs that many of us would buy, and buy many of. Unleash the Kraken! and sell these items after Warhammer Fest the same way you do you most your models. Increase your production if you need to, but stop ignoring this market opportunity.
