So eLearning is really just learning, I think, in the twenty-first century. It's just... It's learning. You can't separate learning from eLearning. It is kind of the same thing at this point. So I might use an iBook. I might use Camtasia. I might use videos. I might use my iPad to show content to the students in my class. And that's a great thing. To me eLearning is using technology to enhance learning, both in and out of the classroom. Because I'm a librarian, eLearning, specifically to me, means distance learning. So we're talking about meeting students where they are when we're not seeing them face to face. Say "eLearning" and it seems like it's just using technology, but it's much more comprehensive than, kind of, in the fiber of the class, rather than an addition on top of... It's kind of embedded inside of the course. So what we really want is them thinking deeply and processing information with higher-level thinking skills and technology is a great way to do that. I think eLearning becomes a much broader picture when we think of it this way .
