8 Tips for Winter Waste Management

in waste •  5 years ago

Hi from Adelaide! I read your bio and had to drop introduce myself! I try to do a little urban farming in our garden (still learning lots) and I'm a contributor for @homesteaderscoop. Basically I write a weekly newsletter for them and help with communication on the account. I'll pop by in a bit from there.

I'd love to see an intro post from you for people to get to know you a bit more. It can be hard to judge, when people are new here, whether they are genuine or just cutting and pasting others work, especially when the quality is so good like yours (hopefully that's a compliment). Just a tip, I'm guessing the bin photo isn't yours, unless you've been traveling, so if you use photos you didn't take yourself it's usually a good idea to source where they are from as some people are sticklers for that (copyrights and all that).

Anyway, hopefully I'm not scaring you off. Look forward to seeing more from you.

You're right, that bin photo is not mine, it's from Pixabay - a free stock photo distributor. I think they won't mind sharing their photo in a blog like this. What do you think?

No, not at all. Some can be awkward about not providing a link to the source, so it just keeps them happy. Some people like to antagonise those people, though. ;D

Yeah, you're right. Updated the source. Should be okay now.
